The Girls And Women Alliance supports and celebrates girls and women. We believe in investing in the state of girls and women, and it take a village.

Simply stated, The Girls And Women Alliance provides resources, education, services and support to girls and women with an urgent focus on girls and women affected by poverty or acts of violence.

Our collective goal is to support and celebrate women by investing in our health, wellness and self care, while providing a safe and fun space for women to connect and build a sisterhood.

Our common thread is adversity and triumph but sisterhood and volunteerism is our super power!

SIGNATURE EVENT

Our Signature EVENT Traditionally, THE KITCHEN TABLE has been the place where women of color would gather, to have dialoge, story tell, have the ah-ha moments, make hard decisions, create laughter for the pit of the gut, and yes have that unplugged conversation! So, it may go without saying, however that THE KITCHEN TABLE talks are as powerful and traditional as soul food.

In the name of sisterhood, self love and village building THE KITCHEN TABLE was created to bring women together across differences and in sisterhood to grow from the inside out and to have candid conversations about topics that matter. The truth is, women are amazing. Really amazing. We are daughters, sisters, girlfriends, mothers, cousins, homemakers, wives, coaches, listeners, fixers and even career women.

Let's face it. Women are amazing and are constantly doing amazing things. However, more often than not, women rarely get a moment to exhale. THE KITCHEN TABLE offers time to have much deserved dialogue, bond, share resources, celebrate one another and yes, even that moment to exhale.
